Privacy, AI, sharing with therapists, and who Luvera is for.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Entries are encrypted and private by default. Nothing is shared unless you create a share link or export a PDF — both require your explicit action.
- Do I need to journal every day?
- No. There are no streaks, no requirements, no "you haven't journaled today" notifications. Journal when it's useful. Skip when it's not.
- What is the AI, and does it store my data?
- An optional reflection assistant. You can use your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key session-only, or save it encrypted to your account. The AI only sees what you type in that session — not your full journal history.
- Can I share entries with my therapist?
- Yes. Generate a time-limited, revocable share link or download a PDF summary. You choose what they see and can revoke access anytime.
- What if I'm in crisis?
- Luvera is not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- Is this for people with ADHD specifically?
- It was designed for ADHD minds — but anyone who finds blank pages overwhelming, or who wants structure without pressure, will feel at home.
